At our centre we utilize the pedagogical approach of play-based learning using the resource “How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years”. Our focus in our preschool programs is to provide environments and experiences to engage the children in active, creative and meaningful exploration through play and inquiry.

At our childcare centre we provide 1:8 staff ratios in our preschool rooms. Our small groups provide the preschoolers with the opportunity to develop a trusting relationship with the staff as well as their peers.
Bloorcourt Village Early Learning Centre will encourage their development and foster their independence in a nurturing environment. Our preschool rooms have been designed with your preschooler in mind. We incorporate children’s interests and ideas into our program as we believe that they are co-learners. We create learning areas such as visual arts, dramatic play, sensory, dance & creative movement and culture & heritage that allows your child to be exposed to developmentally appropriate activities to help support social, emotional and cognitive growth.
