At our centre we utilize a pedagogy approach through the resource “How does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years”. In our toddler rooms our focus is to encourage the children’s development and teach them the basics of independence.
We believe every child is unique in their own way. Every child should feel safe, valued and have a sense of belonging which allows them to express their individual needs and skills. At our childcare centre we provide 1:5 staff ratios in our toddler rooms. Our small groups provide the toddlers with the opportunity to cultivate authentic, caring relationships and connections to create a sense of belonging between their teachers and peers.
Bloorcourt Village Early Learning Center will encourage their development and teach them the basics of independence. Our toddler rooms have been designed with your toddler in mind. The rooms are divided into learning opportunities that promote social/emotional, cognitive and physical development. In our environments there are child-size shelving and wide-open spaces for the perfect place for your busy little learner!
